The Holidays are here….and what perfect timing to share your Values and Purpose with those you love.

Studies show if you want a happier family and more resilient loved ones, share positive moments in your life with each other.  It can be as easy as thinking of a couple of questions that everyone at the Thanksgiving dinner table can answer (even the young children).  For example, the first year starts out simple:  What is your favorite holiday tradition?  Who in the immediate or extended family has taught you something that helped you in your life? …and then listen to all the wonderful stories that are shared and see the smiles on faces around the room.

The desired outcome of Heritage Design is to create opportunities for families to share Values and Purpose with those they love.   Take time to jot down a list of stories, life lessons, mentors who had a significant impact on you, turning points in your life, etc…  Start today by writing down 3 things that you want to share with the family before the end of the year….and then SHARE it!  It could be shared via a letter, on the family website, in person, in an audio/ video recording (to document so it can be shared with all future generations).
